World renowned folk art and abstract artist, Karla Gerard, was born in 1957 in Waterville, ME USA, Karla is self-taught and has been painting since her teenage years with great passion and dedication. She has been selling her paintings for more than 15 years, offering her original paintings and rug hook paper patterns. Karla’s passion is painting unique colorful folk art abstract patterned landscapes with trees, birds, sheep, cats, and flowers in acrylics and some mixed media on canvas. Karla has been a tremendous source of inspiration to many upcoming artists.
