This glittering necklace is made up of precious and semiprecious stones clasped in dazzling .925 sterling silver settings. Rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and peridot are set in silver nut-shell-like ornate clasps. A center stone is surrounded by 12 smaller stones of various types, giving each 'set' a particolored appearance. One ruby drop stone, fashioned like the others, is central to the necklace. Twenty-two 'sets' with 13 stones each makes 286 sparkling gems in this necklace. A sterling silver chain goes around the neck, ending in a lobster claw clasp.
